- Does this class satisfy the computer requirement (G)? YES!
- What if I don't have a computer at home? There will be time to do most of the computer work in class.
- What majors in college take a Computer Science class? Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Cognitive Science and more.
- What careers use Computer Science? Software Engineers, Video Game Designers, Electrical Engineers, etc. However, Computer Science is being used in more and more fields including entertainment and biology.
- Will I be the only girl in the class? NO!
- I (or a friend of mine) didn’t receive an invite, but I want to take the class. What do I do? Come talk to Mr. Landa in room A206.
- What is the AP test like? Multiple choice, free response, what does this code do, write code to do this. The entire test is written.
- I have not taken intro computers, is that a prerequisite? No problem, you can still take APCS. The only prerequisite is Algebra 2.
